User instructions Dräger Saver CF and PP emergency escape breathing apparatus

Following the completion of this training, the participant will be able to use the Dräger Saver CF and PP emergency escape breathing apparatus, check the breathing apparatus for correct functionality and additionally be familiar with the possibilities and limitations during use.

This training is intended for the wearers and/or (potential) users of the Dräger Saver CF and PP emergency escape breathing apparatus.

Theory:

• What is breathing air?
• Respiratory physiology
• Hazards of dangerous atmospheres
• Design and function of the Saver CF and/or PP*
• Checks before use
• Use of the Saver CF and/or PP*
• Limitations of the Saver CF and/or PP*

Practice:

Use of the Saver CF and/or PP:*

• Activation
• Putting on the escape hood (Saver CF) and/or full-face mask (Saver PP)*
• Correct, effective method of breathing
• Experiencing what it is like to use the Saver CF and/or PP*
• Deactivation
• If desired and possible in a safe manner, the practicing of a scenario

* Depending on the model in use. CF stands for “Constant Flow”. PP stands for “Positive Pressure”.

A maximum of 8 persons can participate per training session. If requested, the user instruction can be provided in English.

Dräger Academy, Zoetermeer or Hoogvliet. Following coordination, training is possible at the location of the client.

Participants must make a critical assessment of their own health situation and in the case of doubt should not participate in the user training.

The participants of this training will receive a certificate of participation.
